The iQue Player is powered by a 5V DC 2A power supply. The included adaptor draws 110mA 220V AC at 50Hz from a Chinese power socket and converts it to the required voltage. Power is supplied to the player through a standard 2.1 x 5.5 x 10mm barrel jack, which connects to the combined power/video cable. The centre pin is positive.
An alternative supply may be created with a suitably high-Wattage USB power supply and a standard barrel jack.
